Built with love and a whole lotta patience

When we started this project I knew one thing- I wanted to keep it LOCAL and employ the amazing people of Kansas City to help me make my dream a reality. From buying the van at Smith and Sons in Merriam KS, having it inspected at Higgins Automotive in Peculiar, to Belton Transmission and Complete Auto Care for a BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION (yikes!).

I was so happy to have Lucy Besch Designs design the logo with my beloved dog Buddy as the mascot. Then the final piece- the art on the van itself! KC Custom Signs knocked it out of the park!

I am very honored to be among the many entrepreneurs that call Kansas City home and who help keep the city awesome and unique!

The work inside the van was done all by myself and my amazing partner, Bryan. It was a lot of learning as we went, and it's still a work in progress (aren't we all?). Without him, and my grandparents, this would not have happened. We saved so much money (not so much time) doing it ourselves and I'm proud to say I know how to fix anything that goes wrong BECAUSE I HELPED BUILD IT!

I can't wait to put this van to work and make the puppers and kitties of KC look and feel their best!
